Trig was born Trigit Darillian Hawker in Qualicum Beach, Canada a small 
coastal town on Vancouver Island. He grew up as an active child, always 
doing something to occupy his time. Trig, although a good student, found 
himself in detention a lot as a result of his temper. It wasn't until he 
entered University did he learn to control it. Never liking the name 
Trigit, he shortened it to Trig and refuses to acknowledge anyone who
uses the longer name. 

Trig entered Starfleet Academy out of Qualicum Beach Academy and came out 4
years later as a commisioned ensign. He decided, and Starfleet agreed, to 
go into university and gain the skills neccesary to become a counselor.
Trig was assigned to the SARATOGA as soon as he graduated.

It took Trig nearly two years to move up in Starfleet. Being in the shadow
of a great counselor on the SARATOGA prevented him from standing out and
being noticed. Finally he got his chance with a promotion and a move to the
EXETER. After that his career was on a fast track and he bounced quickly to 
the ATHABASCA as OPS and then a year later as its XO. Two years ago New Year's
day started out as a great year for Trig as he was promoted to captain and
sent to Starfleet Command for training. He took command of the light cruiser,
USS JUNO where he served until 110125. He then was tranfered to the larger
USS CORONA as her CO.

RP Notes:

	Trig is very formal and precise.  He prides himself on knowing as
much as he can about as many topics as possible.  He considers his words very
cautiously, but has a razor-sharp tongue in a battle of wits.  Never far away 
from his trade mark; a cigar, he has been known to even smoke one on the bridge
if he is deep in thought. Most times though, he will carry an unlit cigar 
around with him and often times it will be seen dangling from his mouth.

	Trig is usually a quiet person, but will break into long speaches to
boost moral or explain his decisions. Some speaches have been known to last for 
nearly half an hour. He tends not to interfere in his officer's departments but 
expects that his trust will be repaid in turn and that all department's will 
function more efficiently than if he ruled with an iron fist.

	While usually patient, Trig does have a violent temper and is not afraid
to berate someone in public if they deserve it. His most liked officers usually
get spared the public tongue lashing, but they can be rest assured they will be
getting it in the privacy of his Ready Room instead. He prefers to let his XO 
handle all interdepartmental issues or feuds that might crop up instead of 
becoming directly involved himself.

	Picture Trig as looking like Sean Connery in the Hunt for Red October,
only with brown hair and beard and a little shorter. His personality is like 
Winston Churchill complete with the cigar.
